Eco Development
It was proposed to create an eco-development of ten to fifteen new contemporary homes as an exemplar of best practice in low energy ecological design. The timber framed houses were designed to reflect the vernacular style in a range of flexible layouts which could be adapted and extended to suit changing lifestyle requirements.

Although the plans were withdrawn, AKA remains passionate about the proposal and the philosophy behind the design.
