This grand farmhouse is to be renovated and extended to contain a contemporary oak sun room, connecting the house to the garden.

The central linking element of the house is to be raised to allow for a first floor, providing a living area and library. The proposal creates a new double height entrance way into the house with a walkway above linking the first floor of the existing house to the old servant's cottage, as well as creating a new modern kitchen and master bedroom with an en-suite retaining all the original features.
