Annie Kenyon

Annie is a chartered architect and a member of RIAS and RIBA. During her studies for a BSc (Hons) in Architecture at the Scott Sutherland School, she worked for two years in a busy London office working on projects ranging from the conversion of a medieval coach house to gaining planning permission for a new high-tech recording studio. She began her professional career as a research assistant for Robert Gordon University, researching the concept of ‘Healthy Architecture’, before going on to complete an MArch in Architectural Studies. Annie then moved to Edinburgh where she worked for Simpson & Brown Architects where she was involved with a variety of projects throughout Scotland, including work on castles, churches and new build.

In 2008 Annie was presented with the Future Star Award in Architecture, recognition given by Atkins Inspire to women aged 21-30 working in the built environment who have demonstrated significant personal achievement.

Annie lives on a farm with her husband Murdoch and their daughters Emily and Lucy
